about
I am a painter, nature lover, and lifelong creative. I create expressive, emotion-driven paintings that blend elements of the natural world, landscapes, and figurative subjects in a bold, intuitive style. My work is rooted in a deep connection to place and memory, often inspired by the wide-open skies and textured terrain of the American Southwest.
I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of New Mexico and have lived most of my life in New Mexico and Colorado—places that continue to shape the colors, forms, and feelings in my art. Before returning to the studio full-time, I spent over two decades working in the renewable energy industry, helping bring sustainable solutions to life across communities. That work deeply informed my sense of purpose and appreciation for the environment, which now finds a new outlet through painting.
Leaving the corporate world was both a leap and a return — back to my creative roots, to the quiet pull of the canvas. In my studio, I explore the emotional undercurrents of everyday life, using color and texture to create paintings that speak to both the seen and the felt. I hope each piece invites you to pause, reflect, and maybe see something of yourself in the work.
Thank you for being here.
